The Board of Directors meets the first Monday of each month at 6:15 p.m. It is a dinner meeting at the Maple Street Grill. All interested persons are invited to attend. 

Purpose.  The purpose of Recycle Rutherford is to promote public participation in programs and activities which conserve resources through waste reduction and the reuse and recycling of materials

Function.  The function of Recycle Rutherford is to coordinate the creative ideas, energy, and resources of its members and of the citizens of Rutherford County, to further the goals of waste reduction, reuse, and recycling through a program of:

• information dissemination through publications, meetings, media outreach, and other avenues;
• advocacy of environmentally-responsible federal, state, and local public policies;
• facilitation of events and activities at which materials are collected for reuse and recycling;
• coordination of efforts with related organizations and with appropriate businesses and public agencies; and through
• such other activities as may be determined by the Board of Directors and membership to be supportive of the purpose stated above.
